AICE Media Studies

  Creating this commercial was an amazing experience. It was definitely a learning experience. We really had to brainstorm and think outside the box to get things done. I think I chose the right people to work with. Loudui, Macaria and I toke it very seriously and weren’t playing around. And I would definitely work with them again. We got the job done beautifully. Yes, we had many complications but we worked very hard. I would say the hard work really payed off. The end result definitely proved that.

  Today Loudui, Macaria and I looked at what we had finished last class. When I looked at it we realized that it was very bland and boring. We sat there brainstorming to see what we could do to make it more interesting. Then Macaria had an idea that we should add music. We started thinking about what song we should use. We knew we wanted to use a popular artist. So we decided to use drake because everyone likes drake or at least a lot of people. After choosing a song we had to figure out how we were going to do it. None of us really knew how so we started to explore imovie to see if there a way to add music. After searching we found there was a way. So we screen recorded the music from youtube and added it. Then we were trying to see what part of the music would fit best. After we were finished we looked at the final result. It definitely was way better then before. After we added close captions so anyone could understand what was happening. We loved the end result. Even though things

  Today it was only me a Macaria, because Loudui was out from being in contact with COVID-19. I was freaking out because I didn’t know what we were going to do because Loudui was one of the actors. And the first half of the commercial had already been filmed. So she and I had to problem solve and figure a way to do this because didn’t know if we are going to finish filming when Loudui came back. So we made what we called a back up film. We changed up the storyboard to make it only  with Macaria in it and I would film. She and I went to building 17 like we had originally planned. Some of the changes we made were the following. Instead of Macaria freaking out to Loudui and telling her about her vision. She would say it out loud to her self. Also instead of Loudui giving he the hand sanitizer. She would take it out her pocket and say how much germs it killed. Though this was not what we had planned this will be a backup. So if we happen to not finish on Thursday we have this as a backup s

  My group and I were out filming today. When we weren’t filming we were on the staircase of building 17.We went out pretty late because we had to fix our storyboard so we only had about 15 minutes to film. When we were filming we filmed about six seconds of our commercial. It kind of took a few tries because there were people walking past. But it takes a few tries to get the best results. I think the next time we feel we have to get more done since we were not able to do so much this time.We have I think two more days of filming so I think we can get it done. As long as we are focused and not playing around we can even save some more  time for editing. I think editing  will be a little harder because none of us really have the best experience. So we need to save as much time as we can get. I think this day of filming was not bad. I also think I picked the right people to work with because we were focus and do not get off track. Even though we were kind of delayed we ended up making it
